| A few days ago I was driving around in my

| | lot; so they believe it is best to enjoy

| car, running errands. The sun was

| | each day fully, in as many ways as
|
| shining. It was truly a beautiful spring
| |
| | possible. And yes, one of those ways is
|
| day. I almost felt as if I were back in
| |
| | to enjoy a beautiful sunny day, doing not
|
| southern France. Having grown up there, I
| |
| | much at all, or at least nothing overly
|
| can honestly say that I am a great
| |
| | productive, as per our North American
|
| "connaisseur" (that's French you know!)
| |
| | standards anyway.Do you have "Doodle"
|
| of what constitutes a beautiful day:

| | days? And if not, do you remember
|
| sunshine, blue skies, birds chirping (no
| |
| | them?What did you used to do as a child
|
| cigales/cicadas here) a bit of a light
| |
| | that allowed you to "escape"? Where did
|
| breeze, and the uncontrollable need to do
| |
| | you go? What were your favourite
|
| nothing productive. On that day in my
| |
| | activities? Do you still have "Doodle"
|
| car, life was very good indeed!A song
| |
| | days? And if not... why not? Do you know
|
| came on the radio, and I thought it was
| |
| | why you should? Do you even know where to
|
| just so "a propos"! The artist was
| |
| | start?Why should you bring back the
|
| singing about remembering the "Doodle"
| |
| | "Doodle" days?Because our brains are
|
| days. I thought: What a cute play on

| | always going, even during the night
|
| words, the "Doodle" days!I certainly

| | (please tell me it's not just me mentally
|
| remember my early "Doodle" days with
| |
| | making lists at night!), they rarely get
|
| great fondness. Those were the days when
| |
| | a rest. We can rest our bodies, but we
|
| I would find any opportunity to indulge
| |
| | find it much harder to rest our minds.

| | overwhelmed.You should bring back the

| | vacation. You work hard and most likely
|
| a hill, sit among "le thym et le romarin"
| |
| | take care of several people around you.
|

| relaxing, creative activities; one of my

| | went with your impulses. And here is a

| favourite being painting, with a brush in
| |
| | key component... You didn't feel guilty
|
| one hand, a glass of "vin rouge" (that's

| | for not doing anything "productive".

| right ladies, red wine!) in the other,
| |
| | Right?So... remember what it was you used
|
| and Mozart in the background. The whole
| |
| | to love doing, it could have been
|
| world seems to disappear and "mon esprit"

| France, we believe in "La Joie de Vivre"

| | but we do have sunny days, and blue

| (the Joy of Living) and "La Douce Vie"
| |
| | skies, and some of the nicest waterways
|
| (The Sweet Life). To tell you the truth,
| |
| | in the world.Now... DO IT! Be more like
|
| the French can be a rather fatalistic
| |
| | the French once in a while.
